FAQ

The questions people actually ask before a full contact booking

I am much heavier than I was the last time I did anything like this. Is that going to be a problem?

No, and it changes two practical things rather than anything else. The surface is chosen so it does not give, which often means towels and a folded duvet on the floor rather than a hotel mattress, and the pace is a little slower with fewer changes of position. Neither adjustment is announced as an accommodation and neither is unusual. Write a line about it in the thread and the room is arranged around it before anyone sets out. The page on feeling self-conscious goes through the rest of it.

I am over two metres tall and hotel beds here defeat me. What happens?

The arrangement moves to the floor, which for a long frame is a better working surface than any bed in the city: firm, level, generously sized, with clear access on all four sides. A folded duvet under her own towels is the whole of the set-up and it takes a few minutes. Say your height and describe what the bed does to your feet in the first message. The page for a tall guest covers the ceilings and the stairs as well.

How long does she take to arrive?

Forty to sixty minutes to anywhere in central Amsterdam, counted from the moment the hour is agreed rather than from your first message. Stairs, floors and the kind of building do not change that window. A room at Schiphol or at an airport hotel sits outside it and is arranged separately, with the journey time agreed in writing before anything is fixed.

Can I ask for the lights to be off or very low?

Yes, and it is worth writing into the thread rather than asking at the door, so that it is simply how the room is set. One lamp instead of the overhead is the usual arrangement anyway. Darker than that is a normal request and nobody will comment on it. A long face-down opening does much the same work if being looked at is the specific worry.

I have a scar I would rather she did not touch or see. How do I handle that?

Two separate lines, both easy. Do not work over this area, and keep the lights low, or I would rather keep something on across it for the first part. Each is a single sentence in the thread and each turns into how the hour is arranged. Once written it is arrangement detail and it is not returned to. Nothing here treats a scar or claims to, and the page on scars and injuries sets out where the honest limits are.

What goes ahead before she leaves, and what happens if I cancel?

Half of the applicable figure confirms nearly every booking, a first one included, and only a returning guest's same-day hour or two at a city address is settled entirely on arrival. Cancel more than twenty-four hours out and the whole deposit returns. Cancel inside that final day while she is still at home and half of it is kept as fee already earned. Cancel once she is travelling and it is kept in full, unless the hour is taken by somebody else, in which case it is repaid whole, or unless you can show the loss was smaller than the sum kept. Nothing is ever pursued as damages, and the terms put the same thing in colder language.

I named someone from the roster. What if she is not free?

You are told that plainly and the reply stops there. Nobody is put forward in her place, because that choice is not the house's to make on your behalf. Most guests then pick a different hour for the same person, which is usually the simpler move. Every profile on the roster carries her district, her languages, the formats she offers and the whole rate table.

It has been years since anyone touched me. Is that strange to say in a message?

It is one of the commonest things written in a first thread and it is read as useful information rather than as a confession. What it changes is the opening: lighter pressure, a longer face-down start, fewer changes of position, and ninety minutes rather than sixty. You owe no history, no reason and no plan. The page on returning after a long gap goes through the whole sequence.

I use a stick and my room is up two flights with no lift. Does that rule anything out?

It rules out nothing by itself and it is worth writing down, along with the bed height, which positions you can hold and whether you need time to move between them. Amsterdam's older buildings have steep narrow stairs and plenty of rooms with no lift, which is an arrival detail rather than an obstacle. The page on limited mobility lists the exact lines to send.

How is the balance settled, and when?

The deposit goes by card, or by Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency for anyone who would rather. Bank transfer and PayPal are not used, and cash cannot serve as a deposit for the simple reason that a deposit is settled before she leaves. The balance is settled on arrival, before the room is set, so it is done with early rather than hanging over the end of the hour. Cash in another major currency is fine, with the exact sum confirmed in writing beforehand. Every figure quoted anywhere on this site is in euros and includes all taxes.

Can I change my mind about the format after she arrives?

Within what she has already said her session includes, yes, and it is a normal thing to do. Moving from the bed to the floor, dropping a stage, going slower, staying face down longer: none of that is awkward and all of it improves the hour. What cannot be changed on the night is a format that needs equipment she was not asked to bring, which is why the gel and soapy formats are decided in the thread rather than at the door.

Is any of this treatment for a bad back or a stiff joint?

No. Nothing arranged here is medical care, nobody on the roster is treating a condition, and no claim is made that an hour will improve a joint, a back, a nerve or a recovery. Where something is sore the session avoids it and works around it. If a part of your body is under medical care, ask whoever is providing that care about touch and pressure first, and the booking is then arranged inside whatever they tell you.

I am booking for the first time and I am worried I will lose my nerve. What happens to the money if I do?

A first booking is held with half whatever else is true about it, so booking a single hour means half of its fee goes before her journey begins. Change your mind more than a day before the agreed time and that whole half comes back, no reason asked for and none written down. Change your mind inside that last day while she is still at home and the deposit is halved, one share held back for the time already set aside for you and the matching share refunded. Change your mind once she is travelling and nothing of it is refunded, unless somebody else takes the hour, in which case it comes back whole. Losing your nerve is not treated as a different category of message from any other cancellation.

I asked for two hours and I am now sure an hour is all I want. Is the difference refunded?

It is if you say so before she sets out. Write it in the thread and the booking simply becomes a single hour, with the deposit cut down to half of that one hour's fee and any surplus returned. Say it once she is in the room and the two hours stay payable in full, because the second hour was held for you and cannot be offered to anybody at that point in the day. Nothing is added on top either way. If you suspect in advance that your appetite for a long session is smaller than your ambition, book the shorter line and add an hour later on the night if you want it.

My hip is unpredictable and I may have to call the whole thing off on the day. Does that count against me?

No, and there is no category here for a guest who cancels for a physical reason. A message that lands more than a day ahead returns the half in full. One that lands inside the final day is read exactly like any other message sent at that hour, and once she has set off the half stays unless the hour is re-let. Nothing is noted against your name for cancelling, whatever the reason, and the internal note described on the cancellation page is written only for a false booking or a pressed limit. If the day is genuinely uncertain, say so when you first write and the hour can be set later in the day, when you know.

If a full contact session is built around two bodies, who sets what is in it?

The therapist does, and her frame is no more up for negotiation than yours is. She says where her own limits fall at the start of the visit, in her own words, and that statement holds until she leaves. She is free to decline an hour before it is agreed or after, with no explanation owed to anybody, and free to close a visit she is already in. Press a limit she has named and the visit ends at that point: the fee for the reserved time remains due, nothing is added on top, and the terms put the same thing in flatter wording.

Will a document be asked for at the door, and does my build change that?

It may be asked for, and no physical detail of yours alters it either way. Whoever arranged the hour and everyone else inside the room has to be twenty-one or over, so a photo document can be requested on the doorstep. It is looked at once and returned in the same movement. Nothing is copied, photographed, scanned or written down from it. Where the question of who is in the room cannot be settled, she leaves before anything starts, and the age statement spells that out at length.

I wrote two paragraphs about my hip and my weight. Who ends up reading that?

Only the thread it was written in, and only for as long as the booking needs it. A note about a stiff joint, a recent operation, a scar you would rather was left alone or a bed that is shorter than you are exists so the hour can be arranged around it, and it is treated as arrangement detail rather than as a story worth keeping. It is not filed against your name for later, not carried to a second booking unless you repeat it, and not discussed with anyone who is not arranging that hour. What is kept, for how long, and how to ask for it to go is set out on the privacy page.

Can I ask for someone who is comfortable with a heavier or a very tall guest?

You can name whoever you like from the roster, and the reply tells you who is free at the hour you want and nothing else. Nobody is put forward in place of the woman you named, because that choice is not the house's to make on your behalf. Every therapist here works with adult bodies of every build as a matter of course, and a guest who is two metres tall or who carries more weight than the average is an ordinary booking rather than a special case. If the person you asked for has no room in her hours, you are told that plainly and you decide what happens next.

Is there a weight or a height the house will not take a booking for?

No figure of that kind exists here, and none has ever been written down. What does exist is a short practical conversation before an hour is fixed, because a very long frame and a short hotel bed are a furniture question rather than a question about you. Floor space, a sturdy surface, room to move around three sides rather than two: those get settled in writing first, and the booking page shows the four lines that settle them. Where the room genuinely cannot hold the format you asked for, you are told so before anything is agreed, not discovered at the door.
