Floor work means the session is set up on the floor instead of the bed, which is the ordinary answer to a short frame, a soft mattress or a creaking base.
Hotel beds in this city are frequently shorter than the people who book them and often softer than the work wants. A mattress that swallows a knee is working against everything. A base that announces itself is working against the guest's nerve. The floor solves both.
What it takes
Clear space, a couple of metres by a metre and a half is plenty, and enough towels. Push the luggage rack aside, move the chair, and roll the rug back if there is one. It reads like a compromise and functions like an upgrade: the floor is firm, it is as long as the room, and nothing about your weight is a question it can ask.
Who it suits
Anyone past about one metre ninety, more or less automatically. Anyone whose weight has made him cautious about somebody else's furniture.
